Canada - Cassiar Highway mid July, partner / group wanted

Hi

I'm en route, solo, south from the top of Alaska through Yukon, Canada heading for Whitehorse. I'm thinking I'll take the Cassiar Highway rather than the Alaskan Highway as it looks like it might be a bit cooler, temperature-wise (there seems to be a heatwave in Yukon!). Leaving mid July.

I'm doing 40-70 miles per day but happy to do bit less for some company, or try a bit more! Would camp, sometimes at campsites, sometimes wild, maybe occassional motel which would be cheaper with 2+ people. Will need to carry few days worth of food for some stretches.
