Gulf Coast Mexico

Cycling trip planned Dec/Jan '10 with small group. Starting in Texas (Brownsville or McAllen) and going south. Seem to be finding more info about the Baja side. Curious if anyone is out there along this eastern route, or has been out there, or has advice...on anything from crossing the border, to water and gear, to routes. THANKS...Nicole
