Check out Christian Bomio (Warm Showers member) and his Facebook entries. He is en route from Alasaka to Ushuaia and is now in Puerto Natales which is around 2,000 kms north of Ushuaia.

My wife and I are currently on a similar trip. Minnesota, went down the Baja and just crossed into Nicaragua today and are working our way south. The warmshower south of Loreto BCS is wonderful!
