HOw do I get the map to change when I have changed my address. My profile is showing my new address (NZ, instead of SLovakia) but I cant figure out how to get the Slovak map to disappear and be replaced by the Christchurch, NZ one. )

no. adding my postal code did not change the map tot the correct country. Other ideas?
If you once set the location by hand, you must do so again
If you set your location on the map (with the "set location" tab) then that setting overrides what you do with your address. The way to fix it is to go in and set the location (by hand) to the new one. Use the map on the "set location" tab to move to the NZ location and set your location.
Because of your request I did this for you by fiddling with the database, so you should be OK now.
