Look at the journals over on CrazyGuyonaBike.com You don't say where in the Rockies, but prior to June 1st is iffy if you do not want snow. Even then it can snow in July depending on where you are at.

Be advised the Hiawatha trail "tunnel" between Idaho and Montana (it parallels I-90 ) is closed until June 1st. Good luck and tailwinds. Chris - CEO
