Does anyone have tips for transporting a touring bike, bags and all, in a hassle free way without flying?
I currently have my setup in Denmark, but I would like to start a tour around the Balkans and Turkey. So far I've considered taking a series of FlixBusses with my bike as special luggage and bags as normal luggage. But changing busses with 50 kg distributed over multiple boxes could be tricky. I've also considered sending my stuff as a parcel.
I'd be happy to hear any ideas and insights from you.

Hi Bjarke, I guess the most convenient would be to take long distance trains. You will need to make a bicycle space reservation upfront and in the train usually take off the paniers from the bike. From Copenhagen to Zagreb as an example you get with just two changes e.g. in Hamburg and Vienna. Good luck.
