Hi,
you can pitch everywhere outside of towns your tent. It`s very safe.
There`s a lot of hills and the landscape is very spectacular.
Have a lot of fun. Be careful against the begging kids.

I wouldn`t camp in Fes. Like every bigger city theft can be happen. The cheapest hostels are in the medina except the Youth Hostel. These are safe enough.

I haven`t rode the area around Fes but the region around Ifrane, Azrou to Midelt looks nice. From there you can drive the Cirque de Jaffar.

I came back from Morocco two weeks ago. We traveled from Malaga (Spain) to Marrakech. I think it's better to ask people to camp near to their house. It's safer (straying dogs). People specially outside big citys are very friendly and will offer you a good place for your tent. In some citys you can also find youth hostels and cheap hostels.
Sorry, my english is very bad.
Greetings from switzerland,

Welcome!

Hello my friend!

I hope that you are all doing well.
This is just a quick and short not to welcome you. I hope that everything is going as you wish. Please feel free to stop by if you ever happen to be heading to Tamri, Agadir; a small village along the Atlantic ocean. A French friend and I intend to go cycling together and we got back to the city, Taroudant, we run into a Dutch couple who just arrived. I invited the couple to lunch and we shared a wonderful conversation about Moroccan culture. We went for a ride last weekend to the high Atlast mountains and it was really a wonderful experience. I would also like to say that it's safe ti pitch your tents anywhere outside the big cities. You can even ask people for water or food or anything you like. I am sure they will be very helpful.

Until then, take good care.
best wishes

route advice?

I'm heading out to Morocco next March - Expect to arrive around 25th in Tanger. It will be an adventure traveling from England to Morocco too. I am already really excited! I am planning on traveling down through Fes and then below to the Anti-Atlas, most likely Ouarzazate then towards Agadir. I am just wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Or if anyone might be interested in meeting me?

route advice

Hi,

I`ll be there from March 13th to April 4th. Flying to/from Agadir.
Probably I`ll riding this route: http://www.bikemap.net/route/1365797
"Adventure travelling" is just sujective. For myself it isn`t really.

Expect in late April about 40 C in Ouarzazate.
What route advice do you need?

Hi !!

Hello!

The route you're taking is wonderful, but you need to make sure that you have everything you need with you because not many cars or people seem to frequently take those roads.

I will be happy to host you and go for a ride together.

I am looking forward to meeting you. Until then, take good care.

Best wishes

Habib
