I'm interested in finding out, how this route would be for cycling. I'm interested especially in the States part of the trip, but any info will be great.
Could this be considered a good cycle tour, how is the traffic. Is it very difficult to get in and out of cities?
Anyone has done this route before?
How is the temperature in June in the States.
Any tips are welcome, thanks,
Stephanie

I can only comment on the portion from Boston and further North. It is very doable. The weather tends to be quite nice by June. It can be wet at times, but it is usually drying out by then.
Through the cities, you'll have some commuter traffic, and once you get North of Boston, there will be some vacation traffic, particularly on roads that go along the coast. It's very pretty once you are north of Newburyport.
I would recommend that you take a look at the cycling maps of Adventure Cycling. You can purchase hard-copies of the maps, and/or download the maps for free into your GPS. Here's the Atlantic Coast route: http://www.adventurecycling.org/routes/atlanticcoast.cfm
Enjoy the trip.
