South Korea Information

I've spent the last 4 years living on South Korea and the last 2 of them cycling around the country in my free time with other fellow cycle enthusiasts and I thought it only right that I pass on the information I have gathered.

In most guide books cycling in Korea is very underrated, if information even exists at all. However I have found that it has (for the most part) been an enjoyable country to ride in with very interesting albeit hilly terrain.

The best way to show you what it is like cycling in Korea is to suggest that you check out the Korean section of the website that I have built. On it you will find GPS maps of areas I have cycled and information about camping.

Visit :

Also feel free to ask me anything you want about Korea. If I don't already know the answer I'm sure I'll be able to get it fgor you.

Korean Camping Information.

Unfortunately camping in Korea is not one of the easiest things to do. Most campsites are limited to the National Parks with limited English information available, and forget finding a small place to pitch a tent for the night.

In order to help with the planning of future bike trips around the country I have taken it upon myself to start collecting some information about campsites/areas that I have visited, stayed at, or plan on checking out to help others in the future.

Here are links to the GPS maps of these campsites:

For anyone reading this who will be cycling around South Korea, I will be moving to a city right outside Seoul soon (Ilsan/Goyang City), so you are more than welcome to stay with me!
