Missing German Cyclist

Steve, that is good news. Generally cycle tourists are perfectly safe iin NZ, but you just never know.....   Hopefully h was just too busy enjoying ( or enduring , with all the rain) his ride, to have contacted family.  I work on the theory of noncontact when I  am away from home. If there is an emergency, the authorities will notify family , otherwise they know to presume all is well.

Yes he has been found.

Hard to verify online; his mother's facebook page says he's been found:
Although the NZ police website still lists him as missing  - disturbing... But I think yes, he has been found.
