I'm in Sydney and I'm looking for a touring bike, I went around several bike shops but I've seen only one shop selling one touring bike, ridiculously expensive and that's it.
I'm surprised to not find anything, I thought it would be easy, did I miss something ?

bikes aren't cheap in australia. cheeky transport in newtown are a good touring orientated shop. if price is an issue you might be better off buying something secondhand online, or go to the community bike workshop in redfern and build one up for freeish
Well it's ok if it's not cheap, I'm ready to pay for good quality, but 2-3000$ for a bike you even need to customize some more, no.
I guess I'd better buy what they call an hybrid bike and customize it for touring.
I'll try cheeky transport although there is only one touring bike on their website.
